Rochester School for the Deaf, RSD Middle School
RSD Middle School, for children in 6th through 8th grades, provides instruction focused on expanding students' knowledge. As children mature they become more responsible for their own academic success. Programs such as RSD Middle School Student Court also empower students to take responsibility for their behavior both in school and in the community. Frequent communication with parents ensures that families are very much involved in their child's performance. While working with parents, RSD Middle School staff guide students as they discover the power they have to create a successful future through the choices they make.

The Salvation Army is an international religious and charitable movement that provides welfare emergency assistance including food, clothing, and household items when an individual or family experiences a household fire or is flooded out of their home.
"Our Brother's (and Sister's) Table" provides free meals to all at noon on Saturday and 3:00 PM on Sunday.
There are a variety of programs including Religious Worship, Bible Study, free music instruction for individuals 3rd grade and up, Golden Age Club for senior citizens which is open to the public.
The Backpack Program provides school supplies to children in need at the beginning of the school year. Children are referred through their schools.
The Salvation Army provides vouchers for clothing, shoes, and household items for disaster-related circumstances.

Divorce Financial Planning Specialist & Coach
SECOND SATURDAY is a workshop dealing with the legal, financial, family, post-divorce and personal issues of divorce. Guided by a trained and experienced financial professional who strives to educate women on how to get through their divorce/separation in the least amount of time, with the least amount of expense, while getting a fair and equitable settlement. The workshop provides women with information that will:
- Help explore the legal divorce options
- Cope with the emotions of divorce
- Develop a personalized divorce strategy

Save OurSelves-New York is a non-profit network of alternative recovery groups in New York State, which follow the guidelines and principles of SOS (Save OurSelves) International. Groups are autonomous, non-professional local groups dedicated solely to helping individuals achieve and maintain sobriety.
This site lists ongoing SOS meetings in & around New York State, as well links towards information pertaining to addictions (alcohol & other drugs), their associated problems, and approaching recovery from a rational, open-minded outlook.
All those who seek sobriety are welcome as members in any SOS group. There is no hidden agenda, as SOS seeks only to promote sobriety within a safe, secular setting. SOS encourages the scientific study of addiction in all its aspects.
Religion or spirituality is maintained to be a private & personal matter left to each individuals conscience. SOS does not limit its outlook to one area of knowledge or theory of alcoholism and addiction. SOS respects recovery in all forms, and is not in competition with any other program or group.
As a group, SOS-NY has no opinion on outside matters and does not wish to become entangled in outside controversies. This group does not discriminate on grounds of race, gender, sexual preference, religious or non-religious affiliation.

Prevention and Treatment Program Director
The mission of the SCAP is to treat the disease of addiction in all of its manifestations. The clinical services offered at the SCAP will address individuals struggling with chemical abuse and addiction, as well as family members experiencing problems with addictions or other related issues such as co-dependency, adult children of addiction histories, and children who are currently living in addicted families.
