The Austin MacCormick Center is a secure center for juvenile male offenders operated by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. The MacCormick Center is for 13 to 21 year old males who have been placed by the criminal court system only. It is NOT an agency for referral.

The mission of the Village at Ithaca is to advocate for excellence and equity in public education, by developing strategic community relationships, programs, and services to ensure that students within the Ithaca City School District, particularly Black, Latino, and low-income students, consistently meet or exceed district and state standards of achievement. The Village at Ithaca provides referrals, and utilizes supportive Village/partnership programs.

Probation Director
Mandated Service includes investigation and supervision for the Criminal Courts and Family Court of Tompkins County as well as Intake (Diversion services for Juvenile Delinquency and Person In Need of Supervision) for the Family Court. Intake is the only voluntary service offered by the Probation Department and the only service able to be accessed on a walk-in basis and without a court order. The Intake Officer screens a request for services by the school or parent for appropriateness and schedules an interview.
